Give Minecraft's mob AI a new dimension! AdvancedMobAI is a Spigot/Paper plugin that enhances the intelligence of hostile mobs, making them smarter, more tactical, and dangerous. Make survival more challenging, encourage defensive building, and surprise your players with unexpected behaviors!
Key features include Creepers that breach thin walls, proactively target without direct sight, and strategically explode against elevated players. Now, Creeper explosions also have configurable friendly fire! Enderman continue to dismantle configurable blocks to reach their targets. And introducing Web-Shooting Spiders that can trap players in cobwebs, inflict potion effects, and pursue them with increased speed after a hit! Everything is highly configurable via config.yml, allowing you to adjust distances, cooldowns, and lists of resistant/pickupable blocks, as well as spider web shot specifics (range, effects, etc.). All configurations can be reloaded live using /am reload.
First, ensure your server meets the requirements: Paper, Spigot, or a compatible fork (1.20.x recommended) running Java 17 or higher. Second, download the latest AdvancedMobAI JAR file from . Third, place this JAR file into your server's plugins folder. Fourth, start or restart your server. The plugin will create a /plugins/AdvancedMobAI/ folder containing the default config.yml file. Fifth, you can edit this file to customize settings. Seventh, use the /am reload command to apply any configuration changes without needing a full server restart.
